Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Jake and I were invited to our good friends Keri and Jamie's for a dinner party. I love Dinner parties – it’s just a great excuse to get together with friends and this one was especially warm and cozy because our friends have a real fireplace and they kept it going the whole night! Perfect for a cold winter night...
We got to try out Jamie's new cranberry infused vodka! such a great idea and easy to make too! Blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, boysenberries, cherries... Just throw some berries in a jar, pour some vodka, rum, or gin overtop, let it sit for at least 3 days and you’re done!
Dinner was delicious! Steak stacked on roasted sweet potatoes and yams wilted spinach and toasted walnuts, you can tell they both work in the hospitality industry!

We baked Chocolate fudge cake for desert that Jake and I made together, keep an eye out for the recipe on the blog later this week.
