I’m so thrilled to finally be able to share our wedding photos with you! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect. It was everything I imagined and more! Looking through our photos makes me so emotional. It was so hard to pick which photos to share - there are so many! I decided to break my posts up into sections, to highlight the different parts of the day.
Here’s a little sneak peak! To get all excited!
My goal was to have our wedding reflect us as a couple. From our handwritten vows to the invitations, the song selection and decor, we wanted to take a risk and put our passions on display in every element of our wedding. Nothing was included “just because” in our wedding – everything had its place.
We chose to have a small wedding surrounded by our closest friends and family members. Our guest count was under 100 and I loved that I was able to talk with everyone. I made sure to acknowledge every moment and aspect of the day - the way it sounded to hear my maid of honour laugh when we were getting our hair done, the tears my mom couldn't hold back right before she left me to be seated and watching Jakes lips as he said his vows. Looking into his eyes as we were forever joining our lives together, is a moment I will never forget. We both agreed that we’d never felt more entirely ourselves, so accepted and loved for who we are, than on our wedding day.
