Paris is always a good idea!

I would move to Paris in a heart beat and have lost count of how many "I bloomin' love Paris post I've done on here. With a close friend of ours heading to Paris this week, They asked me what my favourite places were and what I would recommend. I thought what better idea than for me to write a blog post of a few of our favourite places from our trips for my readers! If your visiting or planning to visit Paris, I hope this list helps point you in the right direction. These spots sure made our trips special.

FRENCH CUSINE

Latin Quarter - The perfect area to try traditional french cuisine lots of small bars and restaurants be sure to walk along the Seine afterwards to catch the jazz bands on the banks of Port Saint-Bernard every evening in summer hundreds of dancers gather, the perfect spot for a romantic twirl.

Pierre Herme - According to Vogue Pierre Herme is "The Picasso if Pastry" you must stop there and try the best Macarons in Paris. I just realised that you can actually order these little sweets online!....so incredibly dangerous...

Merci Used Book CafĂ© - This is the cutest cafe perfect for a cup of coffee, brunch or for a quick lunch. You can also take the time to choose a book from the 10,000 books in the library.

58 Tower Eiffel - Yes you heard right, the Eiffel Tower actually has a restaurant in it and a champagne bar! It can't get more romantic then candle lit dinner in the Eiffel Tower.

Le Petit Flottes - The most gorgeous little cafe which has a shop inside perfect for souvenirs and gifts make sure you try their traditional crepes which France is famous for!

Angelina's - I adore this quaint little cafe! Must order items include flore (Meringue, rasberry confit, white chocolate and vinilla mousse) and Chock African ( Chocolate brownie, African pure dark chocolate mousse, bitter dark chocolate cream) it's ok, it's completely acceptable to have desert for breakfast!

DESTINATIONS

Place de la Concorde - Beautiful square with gorgeous fountains. Interesting fact this is also the location of where Marie Antoinette was beheaded.

Musee d'Orsay - This museum is home of masterpieces by artist such as, Monet, Manet, Degas and Van Gogh. It also has a beautiful iconic clock which is a must do Instagram photo.

Arc de Triomphe - Is located in the middle of the busiest round about in Europe. Its a Parisian monument that must be seen at least once in a lifetime. Interesting fact - this is also the tomb of the unknown solider from WW1.

Tracadero - The site of the Palais de Chaillot and the perfect spot to take that iconic Eiffel Tower photo.

Montmartre - Also known as the Basilica of Sacre Coeur, its my favourite church because it looks so unique. It's based on a the highest point of the city which allows for beautiful views over the Paris.

Musee de l'Orangerie - My favourite museum as its home to a 360 degrees painting of Monet's famous lilies painting.

Notre Dame - The famous historical Catholic cathedral a must see stop in Paris

Seine river cruise -The river flows through the heart of the city the boats take you past all the important landmarks. I would recommend going just after sunset going past while the Eiffel Tower a it lit up is a moment I will cherish forever.

PARKS

Jardin de Tuileries - A gorgeous garden which is located between the Louvre and Place de la Concorde.

Jardin de Luxembourg - Hands down my favourite park in Paris the perfect place to take a picnic. There is something about it that makes you fall in love with it and it makes you want to keep coming back!

SHOPPING

Champs Elysees - Don't miss a stroll down this amazing street it's lined with stores such as Dior, Channel and Louis Vuitton just to name a few. The Arc de Triomphe at one end and the Louvre at the other.

Sephora - enough said!

Galeries Lafayette - is a beautiful shopping centre which is a must stop!

DAY TRIPS

Palace of Versailles - This place is huge and magnificent and words don't do it justice.

Disneyland!! - Let out the inner child in you and go and visit Mickey! We splurged out and spent the stayed the night at disneyland which I highly recommend as you can enter the park before they open them to the public. You can also have dinner with all your favourite disney stars.

I hope this helps you if your planning a trip to Paris, if you have been before I’d love to hear your favourite places in Paris in the comments below!
