Our little Parisian apartment

If you want to truly feel like a Parisian while staying in Paris, I would totally recommend staying in a French apartment. Our authentic period Parisian apartment we stayed in was in perfect location right in the heart of Paris across the road from the Jardin Du Tuileries and just a 2min walk to the Louvre and the river. I absolutely loved this apartment, it was so big! Much bigger than what you would pay for a hotel in Paris and cheeper too. Jake and I have rented apartments quite a few times on our travels as we find it much more relaxing you can also cook meals in your apartment which can also be a money saver. It's quite nice waking up and being able to have breakfast in bed or have a romantic glass on wine with French cheese at night in the comfort of your own apartment.

J&J in Paris

Ahhh Paree! It’s no secret that Paris captured my heart 4 years ago. Being able to visit my favourite city in the world, Paris for a second time was absolutely amazing! I love how easy it is to pop over to Paris from London, this will defiantly not be our last trip thats for sure!

Look Book: A girl in Paris

Oh Paris, where do I begin? We took these photos after going for a Parisian stroll through the Jardin Des Tuileries park early in the morning on our way to breakfast, with the park so bare and nobody to be seen, we took up the opportunity to do a 'Look Book'.

Girls weekend in Bruges

When Trudy one of my besties asked me if I wanted to do a girls trip to Bruges for few days, I immediately said yes! Bruges is as every bit the fairy-tale village it claims to be! It's a beautiful medieval town, bursting with old buildings and gorgeous canals. No wonder the second name of the city is the 'Venice of the North'. I was totally charmed by the little city and could not stop taking pictures of all the buildings and the super cute cobble stone streets. I don’t really know why I love brick buildings so much, but maybe it has something to do with the fact that we don’t really have many in New Zealand.
