Wedding Wednesday: Top 10 Summer Wedding Trends!

It's been a while since I have done a 'Wedding Wednesday' post. With spring finally here, wedding planning season is in full swing! I have been busy in my new role as the new Events & Wedding Coordinator at Boomrock. I've been working on some special projects that I can't wait to share with you all. Until then, I thought I would share some of my favorite summer Wedding trends for this upcoming season.

1. Flower Crowns

Summer weddings are the perfect opportunity to go for a flower crown! Veil + a flower crown = prettiness!

2. Drink stations

An iced beverage is a refreshing way to welcome your guests to your special day. Drink stations before and/or after the ceremony are great for your guest to mingle and cool off

3. Don’t Be Afraid To Wear Colour

I'm loving seeing brides be more adventurous. Whether you opt for a subtle shade or something more adventurous you will definitely stand out.

4. Naked cakes

It’s official, naked cakes are a trend that isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Isn't this the prettiest cake you ever did see?!

5. Sunset Ceremonies

There is no better backdrop than nature to say “I do”. Use summer’s best asset and be sure to time your ceremony just right! Does the wedding below look familiar?

6. Personalized bridal party gifts

Bridal party gift boxes filled with personal items they can use on the day. Make sure to include a dossier of important dates and times too! This one even has Jake's favorite chocolates!

7. Indoor Furniture Outdoors

Summer’s warm weather calls for al fresco living rooms. Bring the couches and club chairs outside.

8. Flower wall

Forget the bouquet its all about the flower walls this season!

9. Outdoor eating

Have your reception outdoors it's the perfect time of year! How rad is this long + winding table for a reception?!

10. I scream for ice cream!

It's summer so why not change the dessert to a ice cream station? Such a cute trend!

Do you have a favorite summer wedding trend?
