Wedding Wednesday: The dress!

The dress is one of the most exciting decisions to make for any bride and everyone wants to know what it might look like. I have decided to get my dress made. Getting the dress made means I can design the dress any way I like and it would also be made to measure and fit me perfectly. A few of my friends highly recommended Bobby-lee Design's to make the wedding dress.

Back to work for me today . Had the day off yesterday due to the earthquake that hit Wellington. I was lucky to be at home with both Jake and Mum when it hit but it was still pretty scary! Biggest one I've ever felt! For all my international readers you can check it out here. 

Been seeing a lot of high waisted pants lately - which I have always been a fan of since they magically make petite girls like me appear taller. I also receive so many compliments when I wear them-- everyone wants to know where they are from. I got this cute blouse while I was on holiday last year in Singapore. A splash of red on the lips to brighten up the look.

My first official baking recipe on the blog! But don't worry Jake was in the kitchen helping me as this is the first cake I have ever baked! So I am pretty proud of myself, we took it along as desert to a dinner party with friends on the weekend and I can honestly say it tastes as good as it looks!
