Jakes Chocolate & Salted Caramel Gooey Centred Pudding

The master chef is in the kitchen! Jake is taking over my blog today with his amazing chocolate pudding. All I did was, the taste testing and as the judge I have to say, if you are a chocolate lover you will love these! 

Wedding Wednesday: Our invitations

The wedding invitation is the first thing that your guests get to see. It sets the tone for your entire event, and lets your guests get a glimpse of the individual style and design you’ve worked to create.

We wanted our invitations to reflect our personalities and the rustic style we have picked for our wedding.We also wanted to add something unique and decided to include a customised duogram. J&J will also serve as a “logo” for our wedding and can be themed throughout.

Look book: Hello sailor

Hello Sailor! I feel so lucky to live so close to the ocean and love spending my weekends on the waterfront in Wellington. Me and Jake headed to one of my favorite places Fox Glove for a drink in the sun on the weekend and thought it was perfect to take a few picture's with the boats in the background with this Hello Sailor inspired outfit. It's such a nice summer dress and I love the ruffle detail in the neckline its such a pretty and sweet dress.

Look book: Green with Envy

As you all know I am a big fan of the pencil skirt so when I saw this one my eyes went green with envy I had to have it! This pencil-cut style is so polished and reminds me how much I love classic silhouettes. I kept the rest of the outfit quite basic as the skirt is such a statement piece all that was needed was a statement necklace to finish of the look.

Wedding Wednesday: Meeting the wedding planner

If there is one thing that I would recommend, it would be....if you are lucky enough to have a wedding planner, you will be thanking your lucky stars. Because we have booked at Sudbury Fields, we were allowed to utilise the services of a wedding planner as part of our wedding package. Jake and I want something different from the standard wedding and knew that we needed someone special to pull it all together. Our wedding planner, Paula Bevege is a perfect match!
